The problem of Islam today is Muslims and people not reading the Quran correctly. Also translation improper problems. Not using the best words for translation. Also, people aren’t using the dictionary enough. Here are words that have a different definition to consider. Slay - slang. To make a strong impression with. Or, not slang. To destroy. Destroy - To defeat completely Defeat - To overcome in a contest, election, battle etc. Smite - To affect mentally or morally with a sudden pang; To affect suddenly and strongly with a specified feeling. Off - Away from a path, course etc. Murder - To slay, put an end to. ( the way one perceives). Kill - To cause to stop; To make a markedly favorable impression on. Cutting - Wounding the feelings severely. Fight - To contend in any manner. Contend - Engage in a competition or campaign in order to win or achieve something. These are positive definitions to words that we normally associate as negative. Why would Allah put those words in the Quran? Allah didn’t, it’s mans translational mistakes, man could have found better words to use but there was so much war back then that their hearts were polluted. The Quran is still correct. The true meaning of the Arabic words are there. You just have to look a little deeper and use the dictionary. Find the loving definition to each word. In the beginning of each chapter of the Quran it says; In the name of Allah, most gracious, most merciful. Gracious means, compassion, pleasantly kind, benevolent, and courteous. And compassion means, a feeling of deep sympathy and sorrow for another who is stricken by misfortune, accompanied by a strong desire to alleviate the suffering. The Quran or Islam isn’t that bad at the core. So if you read the Quran use the dictionary for words you don’t know, especially the apparent negative words. Then will you see that Allah is most gracious, most merciful. Look for the positive definition to words that trouble you. This section is of unfinished work. God Bless!
